‘JOIN A BAND, LEARN TO ROCK!’
Students meet once a week (75 minute class) for 8 weeks to rehearse, record, and perform 3-5 songs with their band.
Weeks 1-5: Classes meet on our professional stage where bands rehearse under the supervision of our expert instructors. The emphasis will be on listening, teamwork, instrument technique, tuning, arrangements, hooks, and proper tone and volume. Our seasoned instructors will also provide answers to questions and encourage an environment of creativity for each band.
Weeks 6 and 7: ‘In Studio’, where bands have the opportunity to record their songs with a professional sound engineer in our flagship RECORDING STUDIO. Customized artwork and CD’s are then professionally designed and pressed for each band for their very own album.
Week 8: The semester culminates with a live ‘CD Release’ performance where friends and family come to watch our bands rock out live on stage! In addition, students will receive their diplomas and CD during the concert and have the opportunity to watch fellow CRA members perform in front of a live audience.
